Integrity and originality
Submitted work should be original and should accurately identify authorship, sources, data and other material used in the research.
Conflicts of interest
Authors, reviewers and editors should disclose circumstances that could reasonably be perceived as affecting the impartiality of the publication process.
Research misconduct
Allegations involving plagiarism, fabricated or falsified data, citation manipulation, authorship problems or other forms of misconduct should be assessed using a documented process. The journal should preserve the integrity of the scholarly record and issue corrections, expressions of concern or retractions where appropriate.
Post-publication record
Material changes to published research should be transparent and traceable. The detailed correction and retraction policy forms part of the journal’s publication-ethics framework.
