Continuity of access
Published records should remain accessible through stable landing pages and preserved PDF files. Routine website backup is not a substitute for an independent long-term preservation strategy.
Long-term preservation
The public preservation policy identifies only preservation services or repositories that are actually in use. Until an independent preservation service is confirmed, the journal does not present one as active.
Corrections and persistent identifiers
Where a publication is corrected, withdrawn or retracted, its landing page and persistent identifiers should continue to resolve and should clearly describe the current status of the record.
