The licence for a new publication is displayed according to the journal’s current policy, the author agreement and the rights status of the specific work. Historical material displays a licence only where its rights status has been confirmed.
Third-party material
Authors are responsible for obtaining any necessary rights or permissions for third-party material, illustrations, tables, data and other protected elements. Licence information is displayed on the article landing page and, where it forms part of the source publication, in the article PDF.
