and on change of the community

University of Computer Sciences and Economics, Olsztyn, Poland

Abstract

Community was the archetype of life and social structure. The development of
civilization, both in the economic as well as legal and constitutional dimensions, changed the
conditions of everyday life and interpersonal relationships so far that community initially lost
the first foundation of its being – shared, enclosed space, and afterward the essence of its
being – interpersonal bonds. Rising solitude – as a result of the regress of traditional local
community – is searching for new forms of "shared" existence and interactions. In the
communities: “of assent“, “neo-tribes”, “flash mob”, and in many other forms of communal
existence, finds verification the conclusion that everything on earth has changed except the
Stagirite’s rule from twenty-four centuries before that man is a social animal.
